We are pleased to announce the first Anchor Motors Toyota Senior Curling Classic to be hosted by the Bluenose Curling Club in New Glasgow N.S. on Nov 25, 26, 27 2005

· Eligibility: Any curler qualifying by age for Senior competition for the 2006 Senior Provincial Championship.

· Entry Fee: $500.00 per team.

· Format: 16- team event consisting of 4 sections of 4 teams. Each team playing 4 games with the best 2 win/loss records in each division moving on to Sunday’s final 8. All ties to be decided by tie breaker games.

· Draw Times: Fri 12 noon, 3pm, 6pm and 9pm. Sat 9am, 12 noon, 3pm 6pm, 9pm. Sun final 8 at 10 am, 1pm and 4pm.

· Prize $: 1^st $2000. 2^nd $1500. 3^rd 4^th $1000. 5^th 6^th $800.

7^th 8^th $450. Total minimum purse $8,000. 50% teams receive $$

· Seeding: All sections will be seeded. “Participating” teams prior to the spiel once the field has been finalized will complete seeding.

· Ice: 4 Sheets and this year 2 Hacks per sheet.
